JERUSALEM (JTA) The son of the settler who carried out a 1994 massacre of Palestinians in Hebron reportedly will receive Israeli air force wings.

The eldest son of the late Baruch Goldstein, identified in the Israeli media only as 2nd Lt. Y., will be among 150 air force cadets who complete their three-year training course Wednesday. He is slated to become a combat navigator and has been commended for his discipline. Baruch Goldstein machine-gunned 29 worshipers at a Hebron mosque in 1994 and was lynched by survivors of the attack.
