Sam F. Ghattas writes for the Independent and the Washington Post.
Comment by As'ad AbuKhalil:
Sam Ghattas on the Israeli war on Lebanon: "...which lasted 34 days and killed more than 1,000 people on both sides, according to the U.N. and Israeli and Lebanese officials." On both sides? Since when victims are diluted under "both sides"? You only do that when you wish to obscure the facts: that Israel killed far more Lebanese than Lebanese killed Israelis; and it also obscures the other fact: that Israel killed far more civilians (in percentage of the total killed) in comparison to those killed on the Israeli side.
