Muhammad ’Id Shubair

Born in 1946, Muhammad 'Id Shubair was president of the Islamic university in Gaza until 2005. In mid-November 2006, it was reported that Fateh and Hamas had agreed that he would replace Ismail Haniyeh as PM.

Shubair gained his Bachelor degree in pharmacy from the University of Alexandria in Egypt in 1968. He then enrolled in the university of West Virginia in the United States, where he obtained his PhD in medical analysis.
