Hatim Kanaaneh

Dr. Hatim Kanaaneh (born in the Galilee in 1937) is a founding member of the Galilee Society for Health Research and Services.

In 1960, he went to study medicine in the United States. In 1970, having obtained Harvard degrees in medicine and public health and turning down several lucrative offers in America, he returned with his Hawaiian wife, a teacher, to the Galilee.

Rhoda Kanaaneh is his daughter.
