Rami Hamdallah

Rami Hamdullah (1958-), a Palestinian academic, has been (as of 2013) the president of An-Najah National University in Nablus for the past 15 years. Educated in Britain, he holds a PhD in applied linguistics.

On 2 June 2013, Fatah Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas named him to succeed Salam Fayyad as prime minister. He is a member of Fatah.
