Tzan’ani was convicted in November 2011 of extortion and threats against her manager, Assaf Atedgi, and sentenced to six months of community service. She became embroiled in a financial dispute with Atedgi over commissions, in particular one she felt she was owed for the success of singer Omer Adam, who was also managed by Atedgi.
