Note: this biography may be incomplete or out of date. Extension/update suggestions are welcome.

Rabbi Benjamin Ze'ev Kahane was a son of the racist Rabbi Meir Kahane and a leader of the latter's Kach movement (renamed "Kahane Hai" -- "Kahane Lives") which advocates the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. He lived in a Jewish settlement in the West Bank and ran a religious school. On 31 December 2000, he and his wife, Talia, were killed in an ambush near the settlement of Ofra, north of Ramallah. A Palestinian group claimed responsibility.
