Patrick O’Donovan

Patrick O’Donovan (1918-1981) ... fought with the Irish Guards during World War II and became a foreign correspondent with the London Observer. Foreign Correspondent of The Observer from 1947, television script-writer and broadcaster; he worked in China, Palestine, Malaya, Korea, the Congo and the United States.
