Mary O'Regan, originally from Cork, is (2005) doing a PhD in Stirling University on the issue of the media representation of Israel/Palestine. She is volunteering with the Quaker Peace and Social Witness programme from December 2005 until March 2006 as an Ecumenical Accompanier serving on the World Council of Churches' Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI); she is based in Bethlehem.
