Event #2237 Israeli occupation forces invade several Palestinian cities, damage houses, harass locals and kidnap a civilian Date: Sunday, 2 Dec 2007

Israeli forces invaded on Sunday at dawn the northern West Bank city of Nablus, Balata and Al Ein refugee camps near the city, and abducted one youth. Local sources reported that dozens of
military vehicles invaded the city and its refugee camps from several directions. Soldiers broke into dozens of homes and searched them; damage was reported. Also, soldiers kidnapped one resident
from Balata refugee camp and took him to an unknown destination. The resident was identified as Ayman Al Tookhy, 21; he was handcuffed and blindfolded before the was forced into a military jeep and
took to an unknown destination; local sources reported. Moreover, soldiers invaded the Old City of Nablus fired rounds of live ammunition in several directions. Local resident stated that explosions
were heard in the area. The invasion mainly targeted the eastern area of the Old City and Al Qaryoun neighborhood.
The forces also invaded Ein Beit Al Ma' refugee camp, east of Nablus, and broke into dozens of homes using some as military posts and monitoring towers.
