The date of the end of the visit is not yet known. This delegation brought Britain's wartime pledge to the Arabs back to centre stage. They met representatives of the Morning Post, Daily Mail and The Times and gave them copies of the Hussein-McMahon correspondence in January 1923. JMN Jeffries of the Daily Mail published a series of articles under the heading 'The Palestine Deception'. quoting parts of the Hussein-McMahon correspondence, which called for a British withdrawal from Palestine and the abrogation of the Balfour Declaration.
