Event #973 West Bank settler murders 4 Palestinian workmen at industrial zone in Shiloh
Date: Wednesday, 17 Aug 2005
Asher Weissgan, who lived in the West Bank settlement of Shvut Rahel and who drove Palestinian labourers for a living, stopped his vehicle at the entrance to Shiloh, asked the security guard for a cup of water, then pulled out a knife and stole his weapon. After using it to kill the two Palestinians in his vehicle, he attacked three other Palestinians who crossed his path in the settlement's industrial zone, fatally shooting two and wounding a fifth.
