The Irish Times
is regarded as the best Irish newspaper. However, its coverage of the Israel-Palestine conflict leaves a lot to be desired, since it does not have its own staff correspondent in the region and all its stringers appear to
be Zionist Israelis, albeit moderate Zionists. However, there are some exceptions – particularly, the occasional articles by the excellent Michael Jansen and Lara Marlowe.
